Meet The Team
Julie is our business manager and joined our team in 1989, which gives her over 30 years of experience working in dentistry. She takes care of all administrative duties for the practice, including scheduling, billing, insurance, and non-clinical correspondence. Julie takes pride in her attention to detail and she loves working with both numbers and people, so her role is the perfect fit. She looks forward to coming to work each day, and building relationships with our patients, team, and colleagues, and she strives to make your experience a pleasant one! Outside the office, Julie enjoys volunteering at her daughter’s school and spending quality time with her family and friends.
Judy is our longest-tenured Registered Dental Hygienist, having been happily employed here since 2000. She received her Associate of Science and Dental Hygiene degree from Cabrillo College. With 30 years in the field, she continues to bring a high level of dedication, care, and support to our patients for their oral health. She loves learning and actively seeks out new information and continuing education. Judy prides herself on meticulous attention to detail and spends an impressive amount if time and energy educating patients on how to better care for themselves at home.
Nora is our Registered Dental Hygienist with over 18 years of practice experience. She graduated from the UCSF Dental Hygiene program with a Bachelor of Science. Nora joined our team in 2017, and enjoys the interaction and wonderful rapport with patients that builds over time. She has great enthusiasm for teaching people how to maintain dental health. In the past, she has volunteered with the San Francisco Department of Public Health fairs, and even organized some of her own dental awareness presentations at local preschools and public elementary schools. Nora enjoys spending time outdoors with friends and family. As a local bay area resident, she likes to take advantage of our proximity to the Tahoe Sierras for skiing and more local mountains for hiking, running, and camping. Her latest fitness passion is running half marathons. Keeping fit to take care of her health allows her to take better care of her patients too!
GG is our highly skilled and dedicated Registered Dental Assistant who works side-by-side with Dr. Diamond taking care of patients. GG was born and raised in the Bay Area, the youngest of four children. She has been passionate about the dental field for as long as she can remember, and since her career began in 2007, GG has been constantly committed to learning and expanding her scope of knowledge and competence. She earned her RDA license from Silicon Valley Technical Education in 2015. In 2022, she began a rigorous night and weekend program in advanced dental assisting (RDAEF) through University of the Pacific. GG has an amazing 15 year old son named Junior. They share a love for Giants baseball, Star Wars, and traveling to new and exciting places.
Fernando, our dental assistant and sterilization technician, joined the team in 2004. He is responsible for making sure all the office equipment is clean and properly maintained, instruments are sterilized, and rooms are set up and ready to go for the doctor and hygienists. He is an expert in infection control and has helped develop our ever-evolving COVID-19 safety protocols. He truly enjoys being part of our team and learning new things to help the office run smoothly and safely. In his spare time, Fernando very active in his local church worship group (plays bass). He also enjoys fishing and spending time with his two young children.
